Step 01 · Positioning

Know who you're for, and why they should choose you.

In one week we find your position. The whole week is yours, with no other clients alongside. You leave with one document that steers everything you say, from your website to the sales meeting.

What you get.

Six deliverables you can use directly on your website, in sales and on LinkedIn.

01

One positioning statement

Who you help, with what, and why you're the best choice. Short enough to say out loud.

02

Customer and problem

Your most important customer, and the problem they will actually pay to solve.

03

Differentiation

How you stand out, mapped against the 3–5 alternatives your customers actually consider.

04

Brand platform

Values, audiences and personality. How you should come across, and how not.

05

Message hierarchy

One main message, three supporting messages and the proof for each.

06

Positioning document

Everything in max 8 pages. Made to be used, not to sit in a drawer.

What the week looks like.

Foundation and Brand in the same week. What overlaps, we do once.

  1. 1

    Preparation week

The week before, I read your material, interview the people on your team who know the customers best, and talk to 2–3 of your customers. We bring the findings into the workshop.

    Week before · 30 min kick-off
  2. 2

    Foundation, day 1

Customer and problem, your advantage and the alternatives customers consider.

    Monday · workshop
  3. 3

    Foundation, day 2 and Brand

We put several possible positions side by side and pick the strongest. After lunch: values, personality and how you should come across.

    Tuesday · workshop
  4. 4

    Document

I write the positioning document and message hierarchy.

    Wednesday · I work
  5. 5

    Review and delivery

We review the draft in the morning. I revise, and you get the finished document the same day.

Thursday · 1 hour with you

There is always one free week between two projects, so the preparation can be done properly. Friday isn't part of the week. That's when I follow up past clients and talk to new ones.

Before and after the week.

The week is reserved for you alone. So we do the groundwork well in advance.

  1. 1

    Clarification

We go through the goals, the customers and what you have today, and find a free week.

    1 hour · online
  2. 2

    Booking

The week is yours once half is paid. You can move it for free up to 14 days before.

    6–8 weeks before
  3. 3

    Readiness check

The material is sent, the participants have set aside Monday and Tuesday, and the customers have been asked.

    The week before
  4. 4

    Afterwards

30 days of follow-up by email, and another revision if something feels off when the document is put to use.

    Fridays · 30 days

Week by week.

Who does what, and which days you need to set aside time.
